Skulblaka shook her head as she heard the alarm go off. She took the annoying contraption and wound it up. Skulblaka stretched and looked at her dragon, Gelianth, and said in a songful voice, "Come on, time to wake up!" Skulblaka hurriedly pulled on a tunic and breeches, strapped on a belt and went into the washing closet. She brushed her hair until it was shiny, Put a leath strap around it to keep it out of her eyes, and looked at Gelianth. Good morning, little one. he said groggily. Nice sleep last night. Skulblaka smiled. Gelianth was always looking at the bright side of life.

Leylia woke up at dawn and got dressed. She braided her hair and curled it up into a bun. She quickly walked over to Orlith, her dragon, who like always, was asleep. "Time to wake up." Leylia caled as she leaped gracefully on Orlith's back. "Come on we got to go meet Skulblaka before lessons." Leylia said as Orlith took flight. They landed and Leylia looked up. Sure enough, Skulblaka was not up.

Illilian felt a soft breeze caress her face. She blinked her eyes open, looking at the tree-like ceiling she spotted some faint cracks of pinkish-gold. It was dawn. She rose from her bed and slipped into a crimson tunic and her average breeches, it was time to explore. She glanced at the gaping window framed with creeping rose vines and saw Skulblaka gliding by in the distance on her dragon. It reminded her of her own dragon, well, dragon egg. She decided to spend a few minutes before going off to spy on Skulblaka and Leylia's lessons.

Skulblaka jumped onto Gelianth's back and said, "Come on, there's time left before lessons!" Let's go, then Gelianth replied, and flapped his wings as he started to fly. He soared across the elfen capitol of Elesmera, dodging in between the trees. Skei left and held on to Gelianth's spike.

As Skulblaka landed I neared the clearing whre Leylia and Skulblaka always meet before lessons. I saw them interact for a moment and leave to meet Eragon. I followed on foot.

Leylia wazed at Skei as she soared overhead on her dragon. When she landed Leylia walked over and hugged her. "You are LATE! I thought you never get here. Come on we are going to be late!" Leylia said she jumped back on Orlith. You know she is always late Orlith thought. Why she cann't get up at dawn like you do is belong me. "Well she likes sleeping in." Leylia said.

"Sorry. You know I like sleeping in. Good morning, Orlith." Skulblaka then felt a familiar presence come into range. "Hi, cousin. You can come out now." She looked towards the trees were she had felt Illilian's presence. Why does she always hide? It seems pointless. Gelianth said.

Illilian saw Skei tailing behind the early birds meaning Skulblaka and Leylia. The slender brown-skinned girl slipped into the forest quietly and called into the wind. In a few seconds a faithful, silky white Elf horse galloped out to where Illilian stood. The excited girl chuckled to herself and gave the word to canter torwards where the Rider-to-be's were training.

Leylia yelled at Skei "Woder what we are going to do today?" as they flew towards the glade where they had their lessons.

forget my last one can their be another Blood-Oath Cenontion coming up?
Leylia ingored this exange like always. She didn't really know her because Leylia was ethier in lessons or flying with Skei sometimes or most of the time Orlith.

Before Eragon came out Skkulblaka caught Illilian at her skillful spying. At least she thought it was skillful. "Great, second time out of three times you found me!! What's wrong with you?!" the disapointed cousin proudly walked out of the trees, her loyal Elf horse following. "Sorry, couldn't help myself. I just want to watch nothing against you! By the way, if you didn't know my dragon hasn't hatched yet, so be nice!" Illilian started to get hotheaded and decided to mount the perfect white horse and gallop away furiously. Then a split second later she thought against it. " Okay I know it isn't fair to you that I'm taking my eggg not hatching out on you just because you have a dragon. I'm going to use Eragon's advice and walk away, leading Voronwer (a nickname for the loyal Elf horse Illilian uses repeatedly.), with a cool head and clear vision.

The petite girl looked out of the corner of her eye and thought she saw a quick, confused connection that said, 'When did she get advice from Eragon?' Illilian giggled and jogged away into the forest.

Leylia looked around to where Skei and Illilian were talking. She noctcied that Illilian was leaving. She waved her hand and shouted "See you" to her. "Ready to keep going?" Leylia asked Skei.
